Politics shape the world we live in, and to change the world we live in requires a special people, for example Napoleon Bonaparte and Fidel Castro. These two men are some of few who took the world they were born into and changed it dramatically, but how exactly did they go about doing that? Fidel Castro was born a bastard child, his father an immigrant from northwestern Spain, and raised on a farm which his father led to success. Fidel was sent to a public school where he was reprimanded for misbehaving and was sent to a prestigious private Catholic school. Napoleon was born on Corsica an Italian island a year before it was transferred to France, whom he took as his home. Everyone knows the basic story of the fall of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve both lived in the Garden of Eden in paradise until Eve was tempted by Satan disguised as a serpent. Satan tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit and in return, Eve tempted Adam as well. In Milton’s epic poem, Paradise Lost, we get a closer look into the entire Genesis story. We also get a deeper look into what was going on in the mindsets of each of the characters. One of the characters that we get a specifically closer look at is Satan. In Paradise Lost, we are able to see a different side of Satan than what the bible and normal stories tell us. We all think of Satan as the villain, but Milton gave us a different view of him in Paradise Lost. In Paradise Lost the reader was able to actually see as more than just a manipulative spirit. We got to see him represented as a strong leader that will fight for what he believes in. The beginning of the poem focuses on Satan’s journey from heaven. This viewpoint is being teach all over the United State of America. So because of that the first thing that should pop in your mind about evolution should be Charles Darwin because he is the founder of natural selection of evolution. The first thing you should know is that Charles Darwin was born on February 12, 1809 and lived up to April 19, 1882 (lived for 73 years). Charles Darwin accepted evolution as a fact in that time most people disagree with him. Most or the most important of Charles Darwin research was made in the Galapagos Island (the Galapagos Island is located 600 miles directly west for Ecuador in South America). Men and women should be offered the same job opportunities no matter what gender they are; it should be based on their ability to complete the job. Stereotyping is present in the twenty first century whether it is in society, schools, or the workplace just like it was when To Kill a Mockingbird was written in the nineteen thirties. The effects of stereotyping can be devastating for the person receiving or giving it. As long as there are different races and cultures, stereotypes will never go away. This is because humans fear what they do not understand and thus, must categorize behavior in order to better understand the world around them. But if everyone stopped stereotyping others the world would be a healthier place to live.
